I’m looking for software I can download for free that can download and convert YouTube videos. I also need this software to be able to convert my personal music and video files. I do not like using online converters due to the fact that uploading files with dial-up takes forever. Can somebody please give me a link to good, free software I can use?

or is this a bad idea? I’m also wondering about microsoft office 10. I’m just trying to keep up with my school, although my current xp and office 07 works just fine. .

I heard that they are coming out with a new one this year and there’s gonna be a new design and retina display and all the good stuff. My iPod has retina display and I love it and would love to see it on a Mac. My birthday is march 2 and I seriously need a new laptop. I don’t think I can’t wait past then. Is it worth waiting or should I get it for my birthday. Also like an iPod can you update it to the newest software when it comes out. Like if it did have retina display and a few new features would I be able to update a 2011 MacBook to those features? I hope this isn’t too confusing

I need some assistance with my Nintendo DS lite’s R4i Gold card. With an outdated r4i card you can’t play new games right? And my card’s version is 1.4 and I want to update it, but I don’t exactly know how and I REALLY do not want to break or possibly burn the card. I would really appreciate it if someone could explain how or give me a link to an explanation and a link to the software or atleast a site’s name. 10 points for best answer.

There’s this software called Reggenie that is supposed to defrag ur computer but i wonder if it’s a scam like the other rogues.

I go to NIU and I got two different answers on this situation so here I am on Yahoo answers. Anyway, I have a payed version of Kaspersky Anti-virus and a free Microsoft Security Essentials on my computer. The reason I have these bot is because my schools connects through a program called Cisco NAC agent and it accepts certain virus programs. It normally accepts Kaspersky but Kaspersky recently updated their software and Cisco isn’t updated to recognize the new version and wouldn’t let me on unless I downloaded Essentials or their McAfee. So, the first time I went in to their office, they told me to just download Essentials and turn it off since I’m not willing to get rid of the version I payed for. I called the ITS in my school and the guy on the phone told me that it could damage computer performance with two anti-virus programs. BUT, when I went in for the second time, he told me that it should be fine that I have both, as long as it’s turned off and still letting be online because they haven’t reported any problems with Microsoft Essentials and Kaspersky together. Is there a possibility of my computer being damaged in any way by this free program being on my computer at the same time but being turned off while Kaspersky is on? I only need it to connect to the internet right now.
