ok, this morning i heard my mom in the living yelling something about our computer not working. i wen’t in to see what the problem was and it turned to be a file she had to download for the computer. it told her it was a update and she chose not to accept it. i then said “oh well” because even though it was simple update, she didn’t have to download it. she then started yelling and screaming at me because she took it the wrong way. she was too damn stupid to understand computer software anyway. i could have fixed the damn computer in no time!!

I’m using Sony Vegas Pro 8, and I want to make an entire person in the video to be the only thing in colour while the rest is in black and white. I already know how to do colour passes and everything, but that’s for one specific colour. The person in the video is wearing a whole bunch of things that range from red, white, to black. How could I make all of him stay in colour? Would this require third party software?

It’s about 4 or 5 years old and its been working just fine and since but my boyfriend downloaded a bunch of recording software and now whenever I try and turn it on a blue screen pops up and it wont load or anything so do you have any suggestions, like how can I fix it, do I have to take it somewhere or buy anything for it?

I’ve written loads of songs and purchased a nice microphone. What’s the best (free or cheap) software to simply add a few sound effects like chorus, echo, reverb, noise removal?

When I am wanting to play my new game ‘Modern Warfare 3′, which is fairly new as I’ve only had it about a week or so, whenever I start to play the game it decides to freeze leaving my screen absolutely frozen and my character froze in position.
I am an up and coming Computer Technician in both the Hardware and Software department.
My brother had done a fan “test” on it the other day, but it was freezing before that; now in my own knowledge a fan check, which gives power to the fans and nothing’ else, should not harm the computer system in any way possible but my mother is complaining that it has made it more ‘frequent’ when really all a fan check would have done is clean the dust out of the back of the system, I don’t think it is able to have created damage by increasing power to the fan as the fan is there to cool it down, not to make it warmer.
of course there is one thing what worries me, a computer is basically ‘created’ by electromagnetic pulses being either on/off, basically the BIOS of the system, any computer/digital hardware needs’ to have a BIOS in order to operate correctly. The reason this worries me is because surely if it has a mass amount of EM pulses then it could have indescribable damage to the system?
If anyone has anything to say about this, regarding why my playstation could be acting like this, please leave me an answer and I shall try and get back to you.
